Our Mission
History
The Mystic Wellington Yacht Club is located on the banks of the Mystic River in historic Medford Massachusetts. Since its inception in 1971, the Mystic Wellington Yacht Club has made a dedicated effort to serve the Medford Community. The membership continually works to promote safe public access to the DCR boat ramp, support civic projects and educate and protect all aspects of the Mystic River environment.
Autism Awareness Weekend
14 Annual - August 8th & 9th, 2026
The Autism Awareness Fundraising Weekend Event kicks off on August 8th, 2026 with the thrilling Salt Water Striped Bass Tournament launching right at midnight. Then on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, from 7 am to 3 pm, the action continues with the Freshwater Fishing Tournament, proudly sanctioned by Mass Bass Nation (MBN), bringing even more excitement to the water.
Also on August 9th, 2026, the day transforms into a full family celebration, packed with fun for all ages, free kids boat rides, hands‑on fishing with rods and worms provided, lively music, games, and awesome prizes. A delicious BBQ lunch will be served, along with a bouncy hut, water slide, raffles, and tons of giveaways. A firetruck will also be on site to spark even more smiles. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting local special education schools with a focus on Autism.
Classic & Muscle Car Show
6th Annual - Sept. 12th, 2026 - 3 PM
The End of Summer Celebration kicks off with the 6th annual Classic & Muscle Car show, followed by Complementary refreshments, and will end with the annual Spectacular Fireworks at Assembly Row around 8:30 pm.
